How to get removed

  1. Open Lusha's request-removal page and follow the link to their privacy webform.
  2. Choose the removal or erasure request type and enter the name and work email they are likely to hold.
  3. Submit and complete the email verification step.
  4. Better for a UK reader: send the same request through their UK/EU representative Prighter, which is a European addressee for an American and Israeli company.
  5. If you have just had a notice from Lusha saying they hold your data, their notice gives you 14 days to opt out — but if you are already in the database you can object at any time.

Sells work emails and direct dials sourced largely from its own users' address books, which is why people who have never used Lusha are in Lusha — a contact of theirs installed the extension.

Most people-search sites keep buying fresh public records, and Lusha is one of them — re-uploaded whenever another user syncs their address book. A removed listing can reappear months later under a new URL. The reliable fix is cutting off the source where you can — in the UK that is the open electoral register — and re-checking on a schedule.

Opt-out processes change. If a step no longer matches what you see, tell us and we’ll update it.
