How to get removed
- Open the Do Not Sell or Share page.
- Press Change My Privacy Settings and choose 'Necessary only'.
- If you live in a state with a privacy act, say which one when you ask for deletion.
Worth reading before you start: their page says they honour only requests recognised by a US state privacy act. Somebody outside those states has no statutory hook here, and they say so.
Why you come back
This one does not re-acquire, so a completed removal holds. Most do not: the holders that buy public records re-buy them about every four months, which is why the rest of this register is re-checked rather than ticked off.
