How to get removed
- Open the PeopleConnect Suppression Center and enter your email.
- Click the verification link they send, then enter your name and date of birth.
- Select the record that is you.
- Verify with a code sent to a listed phone number if asked.
- Set the record to Suppressed and save.
Removal runs through the PeopleConnect suppression center.
US Search uses PeopleConnect's shared suppression center, so one suppression request generally covers Intelius, TruthFinder, and Instant Checkmate too.
Why you come back
This one does not re-acquire, so a completed removal holds. Most do not: the holders that buy public records re-buy them about every four months, which is why the rest of this register is re-checked rather than ticked off.
Opt-out processes change. If a step no longer matches what you see, tell us and we’ll update it.
