How to get removed

  1. Register an account at dmachoice.org.
  2. Set your mail preferences by category.
  3. Use their separate registrations if you are acting for someone who has died, or as a caretaker.
  4. Check whether a fee applies before you pay anything.

The US direct-mail preference service. It is a suppression register run by the advertising industry, not a deletion: members agree to honour it, non-members do not.

This one does not re-acquire, so a completed removal holds. Most do not: the holders that buy public records re-buy them about every four months, which is why the rest of this register is re-checked rather than ticked off.

Opt-out processes change. If a step no longer matches what you see, tell us and we’ll update it.
