How to get removed
- Open Request ChexSystems Opt Out.
- Give full name, current address, date of birth and SSN — they will not act without them.
- Choose five years online, or post their signed form for a permanent opt-out.
- Consider a security freeze separately: it is a different control.
Banking-history file. The opt-out covers prescreened offers only, NOT the file itself, and asks for your SSN and date of birth. Their own page warns it does not stop marketing from firms that do not buy their lists.
