How to get removed

  1. Open their removal form and complete it in your own name.
  2. Verification: must identify each document; evidence of risk only for 'at risk' protection.
  3. Typically 30 days to take effect. The legal deadline is 30 days either way - we count it and tell you the day it lapses.
  4. There is a fee of £34 per document.
  5. redaction is permanent; future filings must use a service address (CH01/AP01)

ECCTA 2023: home-as-registered-office suppressible from 27 Jan 2025; other residential addresses, day of birth, signatures and occupation from 21 Jul 2025. Only applies to users who are or were company officers.

This one does not re-acquire, so a completed removal holds. Most do not: the holders that buy public records re-buy them about every four months, which is why the rest of this register is re-checked rather than ticked off.
